Born out of a desire to have an impactful, powerful visual presentation where one can progress along their journey at their own pace.
The idea of putting together a Redlining exhibit that incorporated real history in Stark County formed from a partnership between StarkFresh, Walsh University, and the McKinley Museum who had previously worked together on another large project.
This exhibit, designed to be a traveling exhibit, takes the history of Redlining and, through a local lens, shares the real effects it has had on our community and the lingering aftermath that is still inflicting us today. It also sheds light on things being done locally to permanently Remove the Redline’s effects from our community.
